Institut de France

After much deliberation, in the wake of rapidly changing and unprecedented circumstances surrounding the Novel Coronavirus (covid-19), the ESCAMPIG International Scientific Committee and the Local Organization Committee have made the extremely difficult decision to cancel the 2020 edition in July, in Paris.
Until a few days ago, we were hoping to have conditions to still organise the ESCAMPIG conference this year. However, the huge restrictions imposed to travel worldwide would certainly highly limitate the number of attendees. Also, institutional guidelines from the CNRS (National Scientific Research Council of France) require the postponing “sine die” of the conferences held in France, by now.
For these reasons, ESCAMPIG 2020 in Paris is postponed to July 11-15, 2022
Although this situation is completely out of our hands, we are deeply sorry for any inconvenience.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Paris in 2022!

Please accept our warm and friendly invitation to attend the 25th Europhysics Conference on Atomic and Molecular Physics of Ionized Gases (ESCAMPIG) recognised by the European Physical Society as a Europhysics Conference.

Escampig 2020 is organized jointly by University Paris-Saclay - Laboratoire de Physique des Gaz et des Plasmas (LPGP) and Institut de Recherche de Chimie de Paris from Chimie ParisTech, l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris- ENSCP.

The conference will take place in the city of Paris - ville lumière - on the campus of ENSCP in the quartier latin between July 15th and 18nd, 2020. Please come and enjoy a lively, stimulating and convivial conference, set in the capital of France, Paris!
